The Glycemic Index Foundation has partnered with Australia’s national science agency, the CSIRO, to offer the CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet online. The CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet is a nutritionally balanced, higher protein, low GI eating plan that has been scientifically tested in many studies.
Higher protein meals and lower GI carbohydrates help control appetite and reduce feelings of hunger. The low GI diet assists with weight loss and has also been connected to better blood sugar and insulin control, disease prevention, increased energy, and improved mood.
“The new and improved CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet takes the glycemic index seriously, building on research undertaken by CSIRO and the Glycemic Index Foundation. It gives you the best diet for long-term, sustainable weight control and wellbeing by helping you make smarter choices” – Professor Jennie Brand-Miller

LOW GI LIVING
